IFTH innovates to develop environmentally friendly solutions in the value chain of the fashion & textile industry such as: new organic fibers, single-material products for recycling, more ecological finishing treatments, recycling technologies, among others, etc.
Their role in SOLSTICE
Within SOLSTICE, IFTH will implement business pilot and demonstration use cases for recycling. This includes developing and assessing chemical recycling technologies for PET at TRL 7 with the objectives of testing rPET materials and their spinnability at different scales, prototyping yarns and fabrics, and characterizing rPET yarns.
