Textile ETP
The European Technology Platform for the Future of Textiles and Clothing (Textile ETP) is the largest European Community of Textile Research & Innovation Professionals in Europe. Textile ETP brings together strategic research and innovation partnerships and thematic learning communities across Europe. It acts as a think tank and advocate for textile innovation, and facilitates access to EU funding opportunities. Brussels-based, the Textile ETP was launched as an industry-led initiative in 2004 and became a non-profit organisation in 2013.
Their role in SOLSTICE
Within SOLSTICE, Textile ETP is taking charge of the activities related to ECOSYSTEX, an initiative fostering collaboration among EU projects focused on textile circularity. Their responsibility extends to developing ECOSYSTEX into a lasting European Community of Practice for innovation in textile circularity and sustainability.
Textile ETP also leads the dissemination and communication activities for SOLSTICE, managing visual identity, website, newsletter, and social media, and organising events throughout the project duration.
