PELLENC SELECTIVE TECHNOLOGIES (Pellenc ST) has been designing and manufacturing robust, innovative, high-performance intelligent sorting equipment for waste and recycling since 2001. With over 2,500 machines installed worldwide, Pellenc ST is a recognised leader in this industry, especially thanks to the Mistral + Connect launched in 2020. All materials can have a second life if they are suitably sorted and recycled. Pellenc ST is therefore a key player in developing and strengthening the circular economy in Europe and the world over.
Their role in SOLSTICE
Within SOLSTICE, Pellenc ST is be mainly involved in Automated Sorting. They will sort a minimum of 3t of post-consumer household textile using its intelligent automated sorter Mistral + Connect. The sorted batches will be sent to the recyclers. To do so, Pellenc ST will use advanced classification methods to detect multiblended fibres.
A special study will be made on Dark textile using MIR detection system.
